What's the TREND? Bell Bottoms

Well, well... bell bottoms are definitely one of those trends that finds it way in our wardrobes year after year but could you blame yourself. Bell bottoms by definition are pants with legs that become wider below the knee. They were extremely popular during the 60's and 70's. The form fitting, hip huggin' flared bottom jeans has been this summer top pick for pants. Paired with your favorite lace-up flared sleeve top or basic crop top and edgy clutch, you'll be sure to turn heads or showered with compliments. How to Style Lace-up a Look

We are well into the summer and my all time favorite item this season was the lace-up trend. The first time this year that I saw this look was on Kim K. She wore a lace-up bodysuit by Givenchy. I knew for sure if Kim is wearing it that it definitely wasn't in my price range. But as always the Frugal Shopaholic gods swooped down and created cheaper version of the Givenchy bodysuit. Frugal Spotlight: Gap Factory

 

Have you heard the news? Gap Factory is now online!  When I lived in the US I was in Gap Factory almost every week. Now this store isn't full of Gap's defective items, most if not all are designed exclusively for Factory Stores. All my boyfriend jeans are from here and they have THE BEST tees ever! Style 101: Sporty Chic

What is sporty chic? Sporty chic is when you pair two different looks, like a baseball jersey with a leather pencil skirt and a  pair of slide sandals and make a odd combination stand out amongst the crowd. When I was growing up and coming into my own style my family would always describe my style as sporty. Back then I didn't know what it meant but now I understand. My first real experience with dressing "Sporty Chic" was when I paired my Adidas track pants and single sole heels. Ive seen various celebs kill this look. And some of the most well known designers are incorporating this trend into their clothing lines.
