The Look for Less: MICHELE Deco Bracelet Watch

Hey Frugs! It's been a while. Hope you are all are doing well in the midst of the pandemic. We're trying to get back into the swing of blogging. It felt kinda weird blogging about shopping while so may people were out of work. However, this MICHELE look for less was too good not to post. It's super affordable and you'll never guess where I found it.

MICHELE watches are a timeless classic and staple for many women. Pair it with a few bracelets and you have the perfect stack. These types of items are definitely investment pieces and are worth the splurge if you have it. But if a high-end watch is not in your budget don't worry there is always something comparable style-wise out there. For example, the MICHELE Deco watch retails for a over $2,000. I found a look-alike at Walmart, yes you read that correctly, for $13. Now the quality is nowhere near a MICHELE watch but if you to give off that look; It's definitely giving. Check it out!

The Look for Less: Judith Leiber Stack of Cash

Judith Leiber bags have been in the hands of celebs heavy lately. Celebs like Beyonce, Keke Palmer, Angela Bassett, Rihanna, Lupita, J.Lo, Alicia Keys and every member of Kardashian/Jenner clan have been seen wearing the unique novelty clutches on red carpets, parties, and award shows. Judith Leiber's bag comes in so many styles like cocktails, foods, money, animals and whatever else you can imagine. Now, her bags start at $800 and can go up to as high as $7000. I found this store on Etsy that sells reasonably priced crystal embellished clutches in similar styles as Judith Leiber's bags. Have you been eyeing her bags but the price is too steep?  Well, look no further.

Cute and Cold

Derria and I along with a few other friends are headed to Iceland in a few days. It's a must to remain cute in the cold winter weather, but warm clothes aren't always the most fashionable. I've decided that this will not be a super cute trip cause I'm not trying to freeze to death. Plus this carry-on bag policy will only allow me to pack what's necessary. So I'm packing cute accessories to make my outfits pop a little.

Even though winter is doing a no call, no show every other day, you still need to be prepared. Here are some cute winter accessories that will spice up your winter outerwear.

Spring Must Haves Under $50

Spring is here, well at least that's what the calendar says.  It's been cold and rainy here in DC so it doesn't really feel like spring, it feels more like fall.  Nonetheless, here are some of the must haves for this spring, and of course they are all affordably priced.

How to Transition Your Wardrobe From Winter to Spring

Spring is a couple days away and despite wanting to get rid of your whole wardrobe and start over, this post will give some insight on how to utilize items you already have to save time and money while doing spring shopping and spring cleaning!

Leather: Pair your leather pieces with bright or pastel colors, with bare legs to lighten up the look of leather pieces. Keep that leather jacket around especially until mid spring for those cooler nights you can throw it over you baby doll or sun dress.

Booties: Can be worn with skirts, dresses and your favorite cut off shorts. They are perfect for spring weather because its not hot just yet but some days are cooler than other.

Colorful cords/pants: Me and Christen are obsessed with black in the late fall and winter months. But colored denim is perfect for transitioning into the warmer months. Colored denim is warm enough to wear on a cooler day, but bright colors are reminiscent of a sunny day.

Scarves: Switch out your wool scarves for lightweight scarves.

Long-sleeve shirts: Keep those long sleeve shirts out for a little while longer but add in blouses with prints and pops of color.
Word of Advice: Don't confuse spring with summer. Yes the temperatures will be rising but summer wont be here until June. Tank tops, sandals should stay in your closet until then. Roll with the long pants, lightweight jackets and cardigans until the weather allows us to show more skin! I'm so excited for warmer weather, it seems like this winter just won't go away quick enough!

Dress Up Your UGGs

UGGS aren't cheap and finding some on sale is a challange. Over the Christmas holiday I came across these cute little  boot wraps by Homage, which are liners that pop onto soles of you UGGs. They come in a variety of colors and patterns. The prices range from $29.95 to $34.95. They are sold exclusively at Nordstrom. These boot covers are perfect for sprucing up an old or new pair of UGGs. Since I wear my UGGs almost everyday I'll def be buying a pair. What do you think? Yay or Nay to the boot wraps?
