The Look for Less: Christian Louboutin

In our 25 Fall Must Haves Under $50 post I mentioned at #20 that a platform bootie is a must have for the fall. I came across this weeks  "look for less" while scrolling through Polyvore (one of my fav sites, after ShopStyle of course).  So if you are looking for the perfect bootie for fall check it out below.

Get The Look: Dahshiki Realness

As an aspiring fashion stylist, I really look up to June Ambrose and I absolutely love her sense of style. She was recently seen wearing a really cool dashiki top out and about in NYC. Chef Roblé was also spotted wearing another color way from the Ron Bass collection.

You can purchase this exact one online at I Am Ron Bass for $110. If it's not in your price range you can definitely buy a dashiki from your local African art store or street vendor and add your own spin to it by cutting it or getting some iron-on letters and numbers They can be purchaed from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Walmart.
Christen found these at a street vendor near her job in Downtown DC

What's the TREND? Lucite Clutch

We can see clearly now that the trend is Lucite clutches. They took the fashion world by storm early spring and have been around ever since. Charlotte Olympia, Zara and Chanel were some of my favorite brands of Lucite clutches. The perfect accessory for any look you may be going for event you may be attending.  Below are photos of my favorites:

The Look for Less: Giuseppe Zanotti

Earlier this week I was on looking for some new riding boots and I came across a pair of Giuseppe inspired sneakers. Although I found them in the women's section they mimic the male version more. So guys if you have a small foot you can pull these off.  Check the look out below!

Frugal Spotlight: Torrid

Torrid is a retail store that has clothing for the trendy yet fashionable plus-size woman. Their clothes range from size 12-28. They not only sell clothing but accessories, footwear and intimates. Although I am not plus-size I have bought a few items from this store for my mother and for myself. I bought a very sleek pair of summer sandals that had a gold snake on them. I also purchased a Red Patent Leather Hello Kitty Bowling bag online from Torrid. Torrid  has really evolved over the years and provided many stylish plus size women with options to broaden their wardrobe.
