The Look for Less: Badgley Mischka Glitz Gown

Sequins gowns are staples for formal events, balls, galas, and even weddings(guests and bridesmaids). As someone who has been in two weddings this year and in another next year, being a bridesmaid can be expensive. Once you pay for a bachelorette party, bridal shower, decor, dress, shoes, makeup, hair and etc. you've ended up spending a pretty penny. It starts to add up but I am always in charge of finding the deals. Recently, I was looking at sequins bridesmaids dresses for the next wedding I'm in and boy can they be expensive, prices start at $300. With Rent The Runway you rent the Badgley Mischka sequins dresses which are super high end for as low as $70. That's much better than $600+ for something you may only wear once. For an even lower price, you can buy this look for less from Amazon below. If you are skeptical about buying a dress from Amazon check the photo reviews. These are high-quality dresses for the low. New Brands At Target: Prologue Collaboration

Here Ye! Here Ye! Target has released yet another line and I am totally here for it. Why? Because I work a corporate job and spend about 40 hours of my week in business casual clothing. So why not dress in cute clothes that could possibly be worn to Happy Hour after work or even styled to be worn outside of work?

Prologue is a Target only collection that is a modern and contemporary women's line that will come in sizes 0-16, with sizes up to 26W online. The prices for the line will range from $12.99 -$49.99. Another very affordable line that we as frugal shopaholics can take advantage of.

The line was released on September 14th, and I can say first hand that the pieces are very cute yet chic but also fashion forward. Perfect for the professional young woman.

Affordable Halloween Costumes $50 & Under

UPDATE: This is last year's post with new costumes.
Halloween is around the corner which means lots of costume and themed parties. I am not a big Halloween person, but probably because instead of trick or treating I went to Hallelujah Night at the church. The only ghost allowed in my house was the Holy Ghost, LOL. Anyway, costumes can get pretty expensive especially if you are going to multiple parties and don't want to repeat outfits. So, of course, we had to come through with some affordable costume options for our readers. But first, let's establish some rules this Halloween. What we're not doing this year and every year after is dressing up as someone else's culture. Leave the blackface, sombreros, Native American headdresses and offensive costumes behind. Don't be that person at the party. Be that person with a dope costume that didn't cost a fortune. Here are just a few costumes all $50 and below when you use a promo code. You can always go the DIY route, but everybody ain't got time for that.

What's The TREND? PVC Bags

PVC Bags had their run a few years bag and I loved it back then the way I love it now. Probably the most affordable bag out next to a plastic grocery bag but so much more fashionable. Designers like Maison Margiela, Balenciaga and Opening Ceremony got a hold of this trend and made their overpriced version but Frugal Shopaholics are all about saving a coin and looking good on a budget. Below are some cute options I've found!

Fall 2018 Must Haves Under $50

Last Saturday marked the first day of fall. For once, I am happy that summer is over because the weather has been super trash. This weeks forecast has more sunny days then there has been all summer here in DC. The fall weather is looking up so far. So I'm excited about that.

It's that time where we bring you the current season's essentials or must-haves. Most must-haves repeat themselves from year to year, but this is the perfect time to tie in the current trends. You can also incorporate items from past seasons, like your mules and sneakers from spring to fill your fall wardrobe. See what I think you are this fall's essentials.

1. Light Jacket - Wear it on its own earlier in the season before it gets cold cold. Depending on where you live, you may or may not have already pulled out your jackets. Try buying a size up so you can layer for later in the season.

2. Long Sleeve Dress - Ditch your summer dresses for a long-sleeved style that you can pair with boots or sneakers.

3.  Paperbag Pants - Cropped, fitted or flared are all variations of paperbag pants. Find a style that fits you and add (if you don't already have a pair) them to your fall wardrobe.

4. Jumpsuit - Trade your romper in for a jumpsuit. They are perfect for any occasion. Whether you are running errands or a night out with your girls or bae. Wear them with mules, sneakers, or booties, whatever you want really.

5. Ankle Boots - It's not really fall until you pull out your boots.  Wear them with literally whatever you want. Get some bold booties that make a statement and step into fall.
