It's that time wonderful time of year right between fall and winter. Summer is gone gone, fall is barely hanging on and winter is swiftly approaching. These past couple of weeks I have been on my Marie Kondo and purging my wardrobe as I do twice a year. After purging, I did an inventory of what I needed to add back and realized I'm missing some key fall/winter pieces. I made a list of things I need and think you need to make sure these things are included in your wardrobe for fall and winter.
1. Hair Accessories
2. Oversized Blazer
3. Statement Coat
4. Printed Tights
5. Boots

Today marks the first day of spring. As I was preparing this post, I looked back at last year's spring must-haves and not much has changed style wise. I feel like trends and styles aren't changing as much as before so things that were stylish and on trend last year are still in style.
As each season changes, you put away some items, pull out or buy some new things and wear the remainder of last seasons clothes as the weather transitions. As spring goes on you may want to add of few of these pieces, that is if you don't already have them.
1. Sassy Sunglasses
2. Daring Dresses
3. Sporty Sets
4. Bum Bag
5. Fancy Flats

The first day of Winter was less than a month ago but for most on the East Coast your probably confused to whether its Winter or Fall. Unfortunately for me the West Coast is getting cool and rainy weather. I'm so ready for the Spring and Summer I could just scream. But in normal form and fashion we wanted to equip you with 2019's Winter Must-Haves.
1. Puffer Scarf - Not your average scarf but it's totally a statement piece for just about any weather print.
2. Teddy Coat - The Teddy Coat is guarantees warmth all winter long and is so soft cuddly and adds a cozy touch to all looks.
3. Combat Boots - Soldier girl tell em!You need at least one pair in your wardrobe. Focus on finding army green, black or beige. Maybe even a pop of color like a yellow or white.
4. Beret -Berets are my favorite accessory, I have all colors. Though mostly wool, they are perfect all year long.
5. Classic Wool Jacket -The Classic Wool jacket is a closet staple and at this point if you don't already have one you should snag a neutral colored one. If you do have one already focus on getting a pop of color.
6. Over-the-Knee - I only have two pair in my wardrobe. I definitely wish I had more. My suggestions would be snakeskin print, black or maybe grey so that you can wear with just about anything.

Last Saturday marked the first day of fall. For once, I am happy that summer is over because the weather has been super trash. This weeks forecast has more sunny days then there has been all summer here in DC. The fall weather is looking up so far. So I'm excited about that.
It's that time where we bring you the current season's essentials or must-haves. Most must-haves repeat themselves from year to year, but this is the perfect time to tie in the current trends. You can also incorporate items from past seasons, like your mules and sneakers from spring to fill your fall wardrobe. See what I think you are this fall's essentials.
1. Light Jacket - Wear it on its own earlier in the season before it gets cold cold. Depending on where you live, you may or may not have already pulled out your jackets. Try buying a size up so you can layer for later in the season.
2. Long Sleeve Dress - Ditch your summer dresses for a long-sleeved style that you can pair with boots or sneakers.
3. Paperbag Pants - Cropped, fitted or flared are all variations of paperbag pants. Find a style that fits you and add (if you don't already have a pair) them to your fall wardrobe.
4. Jumpsuit - Trade your romper in for a jumpsuit. They are perfect for any occasion. Whether you are running errands or a night out with your girls or bae. Wear them with mules, sneakers, or booties, whatever you want really.
5. Ankle Boots - It's not really fall until you pull out your boots. Wear them with literally whatever you want. Get some bold booties that make a statement and step into fall.

1. Straw/Wicker Bag:

Spring is on its way and the weather can be unpredictable. Just last week here in DC we went through all the seasons. Just like fall, spring is a transition season as far as clothes go. You can put away your heavy coats but keep the boots, light sweaters and jeans in your closet for spring. Add some of the pieces below to your closet for the upcoming season and you are good. Now, there are a lot more trendy variations of these items you can add. But as I always say this is a post for ideas to add your personal touch.
1. Graphic Tee - Derria just did a post on how graphic tees are the must-have trend.
2. Mini Skirt - 90s valley girl style is in right now. Pull out your mini skirts and pair it with your suit jacket and whatever shoe you like.
3. Suit - Suits are in both pant and miniskirt suits. And you need one in your closet because they can be worn in multiple ways. It's an easy way to maximize your wardrobe.
4. Oversized Dress - For those days that are not too cold and not too hot an oversized dress is perfect. Pair it with some sneakers or your winter booties.
5. Mules - It isn't full-blown sandal weather yet in most parts of the country but mules are a good segway.
6. Sneakers - Chunky, platform, or embellished pick a style you like and rock it.

Got to make sure our readers are keeping warm all while serving a look. Keep in mind you don't need these exact items. You can adjust them based on your personal style.

2. Sweater Dress - The perfect cute and cozy thing you can wear this winter is a sweater dress. Pair it with your favorite boots. We recommend a sock or OTK boot.
3. Skinny Jeans - Jeans are perfect for the winter and every other season honestly. But quality denim will keep you cute and warm during these low temperatures.
4. Puffer Coat - A puffer coat is an absolute must. They come in a bunch of different styles, shapes, and lengths. Also, they can be fairly inexpensive so you can experiment with trends in your puffer.

Whew! It feels like it's been a while since we did a "must haves" post but I'm going to jump right in and say in normal fashion that I am not ready for fall at all. Especially now that I am living clear across the country in Los Angeles and the top reason for my move was so that I would not have to deal with seasons. According to LA locals, September/October can be some of the hottest months which I am totally looking forward to. Enough about the weather I'm experiencing and more about the items you need in your closet this fall! See below 6 things you need this fall!
1. Neutral Plaids - Whether it be a skirt, dress or pants you can pair your neutral plaids with just about any band tee or slogan tee to make it edgier.
2. Leather - This must-have is explanatory, I always have at least 3-4 leather pieces in my wardrobe at all times. Get yourself a leather skirt and a pair of leather pants and you'll be solid for fall.
3. Fun Fur - I have seen this "Fun Fur" in Zara over the summer. Basically, colorful faux fur on the sleeves of sweatshirts and tee shirts but also a fun fur jacket wouldn't hurt.
4. Slogan Tee - One of those trends that will follow us forever. To be honest the slogans get doper each year!
5. Shearling - Shearling was a huge trend last fall and winter and here we are yet again but let's take it to another level with brighter colors as a statement piece.
Summer is just one week away and the countdown is real. We've officially got our summer wardrobe on the brain. Now, don't quite throw your spring must-haves, most of those pieces are still good to carry through for summer. For summer 2017, flower prints are back and bolder than ever. The colors yellow and pink are taking center stage. While a coordinating set with a bra top and a duster makes for a perfect outfit. Check out these summer must-haves below!
Goodbye winter and hello spring. Although climate change is real and winter barely showed up to the party, I'm still ready for it to go. It's almost the season for happy hour, Sunday brunch, day parties and more. Spring is less than 2 weeks away so it's time to get these wardrobes into formation. Now there are a lot of trends for the upcoming warmer months, but you don't have to indulge in them all. So we've picked out the must haves we think you should add to your spring wardrobe. Check them out below!
Fall is here and per the usual we are here to give you the must haves for the season. If you check out the items below, you'll see some styles that we think you absolutely need in your closet. I'm not a big fan of any season where you have to wear a coat. However, I'm looking forward to fall shopping. I've already added a few pieces from our must have list. So get your wardrobe prepared for the season with the list below.
Summer ’16 is finally here! Each season we come with the ‘must haves’, but for the most part summer essentials are pretty much the same every year. You have sunglasses, tanks, shorts, skirts, rompers, dresses, sandals, etc. However most people like to incorporate current trends into their summer wardrobe. So here a few items I think you need in your closet for the summer: chokers, oversized sunnies, tasseled/fringed crossbody bag, lace-up tops, an off the shoulder dress, embroidered rompers and some bad sandals. Check out where to get the items below.
Yesterday marked the first day of spring and it was only right for us to let you know what you need to have in your spring wardrobe this year. It is time to shed those layers and bring out the bright colors and sandals! Off the shoulder tops are in and I've seen them in just about every color and print perfect for that warmer spring weather. We've seen the lace-up blouses for the last two springs and we aren't upset about it! Denim overalls are definitely an up-to-date trend with assorted patches. I just recently did a DIY patch project on my own pair of overalls (I'll do a post about it later). Pollazzo pants are perfect to dress up or down for work or for a casual day out and are very comfortable. Colored pants are here each and every spring, snag a pair! Spring means day parties and a bodycon dress is always perfect. Strappy and tie up heels are a must for the spring and to complete your outfit add a cross body bag.
