Explain your blog name?
My blog is a lifestyle and fashion blog, so I wanted a name that would represent both worlds and be catchy. I was Googling names and randomly came across the phrase "pomp and circumstance" and it just clicked that I would call my blog Pumps & Circumstance. I think it encapsulates a little bit of who I am and what the blog is.
Describe your personal style?
Honestly, I don't think I have just one style. The great thing about being frugal is I can switch from classic to edgy to preppy easily because I'm not spending a fortune on my wardrobe. I really base my look off how I'm feeling each day.
Where are your favorite places to shop?
There are several resale and consignment shops in Indianapolis that I just love. I also love hitting up malls and thrift stores like the Goodwill.
What does being a "Frugal Shopaholic" mean to you?
I think it means being a woman or man who loves to shop, but knows how to be smart with their money. For me, it's about finding great pieces-even designer- at a bargain. There really is no need to ever pay retail in my opinion.
What is a frugal shopaholic tip or trick that can share with our readers?
Look once and then look again. I don't how many times I've stumbled upon a great find from going back and checking the same rack a second time.
