Splurge or Save?

I'm from Maryland and one of my friends has a gold chain of the state of Maryland. Ever since I saw his I wanted a similar one, more feminine of course. I went to my good friend Google and found out Baublebar sales custom state and country pendants in silver, gold and rose gold starting at $130. The price can go higher if you decide to get the 10 or 14 karat option. I also found some very cheap ones ranging from $8 - 35 on Etsy and Aliexpress. Since I'll be moving out of the country in a little over a month this will help me remember home. Should I splurge or save?

Today I ran into Urban Outfitters just to do a quick run through the sale rack and to my surprise they were having 50% off sale items! Bingo! I snagged a pair of Urban Renewal Levi denim shorts and two pairs of sandals, both $10 each! Check your local Urban Outfitters to see if they are doing this same promotion.

The Look for Less: Tom Ford

I don't pop molly, I rock Tom Ford.....well actually I don't rock Tom Ford either. This time last year I did a look less for the Tony Bianco lace up bootie, everybody and their mama was rocking that style of shoe. Now Tom Ford makes a pair that's even hotter but they will run you $3600. But of course I found a more affordable pair. Checkout a video of the look for less at heels.com

FLYONADIME365 is a name that I chose as a reflection of my lifestyle.  To break it down: FLY-confidence in your own personal style ONADIME-bargain 365-everyday

Describe your personal style? 

My personal style is clean & simple, yet bold & fierce at the same time.  I love to make a statement with my looks and accessories play a major part in that.  They say, "Diamonds are a girls best friend" well, I believe that "Accessories are a girls best friend". I always have on at least one thing that stands out; whether it be an amazing lipstick, shades, shoes, a bag etc. Making a statement is a necessary component of my style.

Where are your favorite places to shop? 

My favorite places to shop are: Target, Forever21, Goodwill, NY&Co, Old Navy, JustFab and Shop Miss A just to name a few.  However, thrifting is by far my favorite way to shop.  I can spend hours at a time searching for those hidden treasures.

What does being a "Frugal Shopaholic" mean to you? 

Being a "Frugal Shopaholic" to me is, knowing a good deal when you see it.  The key is to never out rule a store due to low expectations.  I have a love for finding inexpensive items that most people would not believe how little i paid for it.  I believe that your outfit should be affordable, not look affordable.

What is a frugal shopaholic tip or trick that you can share with our readers?

TIP: Every once in a while, I love to go and do what I call "character shopping".  This is simply looking for items and accessories that expresses your style/personality.  This includes: hats, belts, scarves, buttons, earrings, bracelets etc.  I recommend "character shopping" for anyone who is looking to take their style to the next level.

There's a Scandal at The Limited

Gladiators! Olivia Pope’s signature style is coming to The Limited. Now you can get her look for an affordable price. Kerry Washington and Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo are developing a new fashion line inspired by the styles Olivia Pope. 

 

You will be able to shop the Pope aesthetic (neutral tones, modern silhouettes, and overall kickass style) in late September. The fall collection, featuring affordable versions of Olivia Pope's clothes, starts at $49 and marks the store's first Hollywood collaboration.

What's The TREND? Tuxedo Dress
