What's The TREND? Velvet Shoes

The velvet shoe trend for fall is already making headway at the tail end of the summer. Velvet ankle boots have been spotted on Kendall Jenner, various fashion bloggers and most certainly on Fashion Week runways. I am absolutely in love with this trend and plan on buying some heeled booties in order to indulge in this trend. Velvet can be dressed up or down. Not only are velvet shoes a trend but velvet clothing and accessories are too. So make sure you gear up for the fall with this trend!

Sneakers Under $100

For the last few months I've been very interested in incorporating sneakers into my wardrobe. But the thing that really deters me is that all the sneakers I really like are either over priced or sold out within seconds or days. I like the ease of liking something and being able to purchase it without hassle. So I wanted to help out my fellow frugal shopaholics with some choices under $100!

Frugal Finds: EGO

New year new things, this year we decided to make a small change to our monthly posts. We felt the "Frugal Spotlight" and "Frugal Finds" posts are kind of redundant, so from now on we are going to mesh them into one post.

Ego is an online footwear brand based out of Manchester, UK, that offers fashionable footwear for a fraction of the high street price.  If you're a Frugal Shopaholic then "fraction of the high street price" should definitely set off an alarm in you! I came across this site on Instagram and I fell in love with the shoe options. They even give you fashion advice on what to wear with each shoe! Very reasonably priced to say the least.. Below are some frugal finds from this site under $60!
Frugal Finds: Ego Shoes
Ava Stiletto Heel $43 || Nikki Textured Trainer $29 ||  Ivy Over-The-Knee Snake Print Boot $50 || Zina Boot $57 ||  Parker Over-The-Knee Boot $57

The Look for Less: Adidas

This isn't a normal designer look for less from us, but I had to share for our European readers. Almost every person aged 15 - 30 owns a pair of Stan Smith Adidas. I even thought about getting a pair just to fit in. This look for less is on the Raf Simons version, they come in many different colorways. H&M has cream and red pair that are almost identical. Check them out below.

25 Sandals Under $25

Sandals are essential for the summer! I don't see how people walk around with close-toed shoes when its 90+ degrees. But anyway, keeping my style resolution of only wearing outfits that cost $100 and under it's important to find shoes that are reasonably priced. So here are 25 sandals under $25.

When in Rome

Gladiator sandals have deep roots in Ancient Roman history, but in today's time we wear them for fashion. It's funny to me how fashion and always repeats itself. But anyway gladiators are the it shoe for the spring and summer, whether short and flat, knee high, or high heeled. Prices range from the $2000 on down, but of course we're going to bring you the more affordable versions, all for under $50.

The Look for Less: Burberry

Burberry Look for Less

I'm not a fan of rain boots and I've never been BUT the weather in DC has been real icky, as I'm writing this blog post there is mixture of snow and rain coming down outside. I walk to the Metro from my apartment everyday and I'm always slipping or falling with my UGGs on. So it might be time for my to get over my hate for rain boots and buy some. I was in the Burberry store by my job and came across these, check them and the look for less out below! They are pretty much identical.

What's On My Feet?

I'm just getting into the whole shoe club membership stores like ShoeDazzle and Just Fab. I mean I've been aware of them but I never really had a desire to order anything until recently. Since my style resolution is too keep my outfits $100 and under inexpensive shoes are a must. Checkout my most recent purchases from Shoe Dazzle's $25 boot sale.
