The holiday parties are rolling in and everyone is hosting 'Ugly Christmas Sweater' parties. If you are like me when invited to an Ugly Christmas Sweater party I thought of ways to make my sweater cute. Something I could wear within my wardrobe anytime of year. So its safe to say I was not going to win ugliest sweater contest. But if you have been invited to a Ugly Christmas Sweater party here's a DIY to help save you time and money. You can even have a DIY Ugly Christmas Sweater party before the party.
What you need:
- A Sweater
- Dimensional Fabric Paint
- Beads
- Ribbon
- Glue
- Thread & Needle
- Iron
- Iron-on Christmas Patches & Letters
- Any other items you can securely add to your sweater to make it UGLY!
Step 1: Think of a message or word you'd want on your sweater and then either iron on the letters or write them out with the fabric paint and let dry.
Step 2: Add any and every object (ribbons, lights, beads, random Christmas themed objects) you can securely add without it falling off with glue or needle & thread and watch your sweater transform.
