It's officially been a little over a week since we attended New York Fashion Week. Our trip to NYFW was based around an invitation to the Yuna Yang FW17 show that we received.
Day1: We arrived in New York around 11 am Friday and got right to it. Our first few hours in the city consisted of us doing a little shopping in the city and then we attended NYFW Style Soiree with Stylinity where we were able to drink champagne, network with other fashion bloggers and check out the unique jewelry in LuLu Frost. We kept the ball rolling and attended the Art Loves Fashion show that evening. The Art Loves Fashion show showcased three up and coming designers. The three designers we saw were: Fernando Alberto Atelier, Pineda Covalin, and Mister Triple X. My favorite designer of the evening was Fernando Alberto Atelier because of the chicness of each piece. Check out a couple photos from the show.
Day 2: We attended the Yuna Yang show. It was the first official show of our trip and we ended up sitting front row where we could see the models at the beginning of the runway. Sweet! See my favorite looks from the Yuna Yang FW 17 show and video of the actual show below!
After the Yuna Yang show, we took our talents to the Skylight Clarkson Square building where most of the top designer shows are held and somehow we ended up in the Dion Lee FW17 Show. Major Win! The Dion Lee line was very dope, edgy and right up my alley with simple yet daring pieces. Check out some of my favorite looks from the show as well as video of the actual show below!

After the Dion Lee show was over we hung out in the Skylight building and visited the photo booth to take some quick photos and then we swung by the Tresemme NYFW Salon where hairstylists are hired to spruce up your hair with everything from halo braids to wand curls absolutely free. The right price for frugal shopaholics like ourselves. So we got our hair curled and were prepared for our next move, dinner with some fellow fashion bloggers @inspiredbykrys & @tashjmackk.
We had one more fashion show to attend Christian Benner FW17. It required us to stand outside in the cold in my heels for an hour and a half. It felt like we were standing in line for the club. Once we got in the concept was totally different than what we expected. The models were standing on a stage and on the tops of booth seats decked out in Christian Benner leather jackets. It was jam packed but we at least got a chance to see the line.
